Applications

List applications:

bash
gwebc --profile <profile> app list --environment dev
gwebc --profile <profile> app list --environment preprod
gwebc --profile <profile> app list --environment prod

Inspect an application:

bash
gwebc --profile <profile> app show <application>

Application output may include:

  • namespace;
  • immutable image reference;
  • deployment UID;
  • replica counts;
  • readiness;
  • contract state;
  • managed state;
  • mutation policy.

A tenant can only see applications exposed to its authorized tenant context.

Tenant-safe diagnostics

Use bounded tenant diagnostics before escalating to platform administration:

bash
gwebc --profile <profile> \
  app diagnostics <application> \
  --environment dev

Diagnostics can show tenant-safe rollout details such as:

  • pod phase;
  • readiness;
  • restart count;
  • deployment conditions;
  • container state;
  • waiting reason, including conditions such as ImagePullBackOff.

This is the supported first-line troubleshooting path. Normal tenant troubleshooting should not require SSH, kubectl, a kubeconfig, or raw Kubernetes credentials.

Availability versus rollout convergence

app show can report the application as READY while an older healthy ReplicaSet is still serving and the newest revision has not converged.

Use both:

bash
gwebc --profile <profile> \
  deploy history <application> \
  --environment dev

gwebc --profile <profile> \
  app diagnostics <application> \
  --environment dev

to confirm the latest revision itself is healthy.
